Playgroup Enterprises has been a long time dream for Owner/Agent, Paula McNamara. With her 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry she lends her expertise and guidance to actors, both comedic and dramatic, offering them the inspiration and support that makes their journey worthwhile and more importantly, fun!
For Paula, it is a true privilege to contribute just a small part in building an actor’s career.
It is here that the actors can begin the art of ‘playing’, no matter what their age.
Paula was a successful talent agent for over 5 years at her last agency and helped shaped its success, even to this day! Before this, she was an assistant at a very reputable talent agency to a commercial dept. of over 70 adult actors and a film/television/commercial department for a roster of about 30 children.
The 7 years previous were spent co-ordinating and assisting at 2 commercial production houses, where she first met many casting directors, a sound studio and an advertising agency. To shake things up, she also worked for an investment firm promoting and selling financial planning for just under a year but found after ALL OF THIS, her true love was in providing exciting opportunities both creatively and financially rewarding for actors and helping them develop their careers.
Playgroup Enterprises officially began full operation in May 2005 and represents a cross section of both comedic and dramatic actors from the ages of 3 – 45.
